Ben Mulroney
Benedict (Ben) Mulroney (born March 9, 1976 in Montréal, Québec) is a Canadian newspaper columnist and television host.

He is the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and Mila Pivnicki. He has a law degree from Laval University and a history degree from Duke University.

Mulroney is best known as the host of Canadian Idol, the Canadian counterpart of Pop Idol and American Idol, and host of the CTV entertainment magazine eTalk Daily. From 2001 to 2002, he was entertainment reporter on CTV's Canada AM. Mulroney also writes a regular column for the Toronto Sun, a job he began after his father was appointed chairman of the board of Sun Media.

Mulroney was one of several children of former Prime Ministers who became Canadian media personalities between 1998 and 2001. The others were Catherine Clark, Justin Trudeau and Alexandre Trudeau.
