Belgrade is a town located in Kennebec County, Maine. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 2,978.

Belgrade is made up different 'centers' including North Belgrade, Belgrade Depot, and Belgrade Lakes (or 'The Village').

Notable landmarks in the town include the Village Inn, Hammond Lumber Company's headquarters, Day's Store and Belgrade Lake Golf Course. The Golf Course, built in 2000, is already known as one of the best public courses in the state. Harold Alfond, a noted philanthropist and founder of Dexter Shoes, was a founding partner and plays there regularly.
