Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
Beaver Dam is a city located in Dodge County, Wisconsin, along Beaver Dam Lake, Wisconsin's 16th largest lake, and the Beaver Dam River. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 15,169. The city is located within the Town of Beaver Dam. The mascot of Beaver Dam High School is the Beaver Dam Golden Beaver. The actor Fred MacMurray spent his childhood in Beaver Dam and graduated from Beaver Dam High School. It is also home to Wayland Academy, a coed college prep boarding and day school.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 17.0 km² (6.6 mi²). 13.5 km² (5.2 mi²) of it is land and 3.5 km² (1.3 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 20.43% water.
