Beauty mark
A beauty mark is a mole on the face or other particular parts of the body (bruest, stomach) that, for whatever reason, is considered to be an attractive feature (unlike most which are considered undesirable and unattractive). Generally they are located on the cheek around an inch above the lip. During the Renaissance, they were considered an element of beauty and it became trendy to pencil a false one on yourself using makeup. Generally they are subdermal moles and do not protrude from the skin.
