BBC Wildlife is a British glossy, all-colour, monthly magazine about wildlife, founded by BBC Worldwide and published on their behalf by their subsidiary, Origin Publishing.

It is currently edited by Sophie Stafford, appointed in April 2004, when the magazine moved to Origin, having been a section editor on the magazine for a year before that.

Although the magazine celebrated its 40th birthday in 2003, editions are now numbered such that the January 2005 edition was volume 23, number 1.
