BBC Sessions (Jimi Hendrix)
BBC Sessions (1998) is a compilation album of recordings by the rock group The Jimi Hendrix Experience, released on MCA Records. It contains tracks from various appearances on BBC radio and television programmes, such as 'Saturday Club' and 'Top Of The Pops', mainly recorded in 1967. At a BBC radio 'session', a practice still alive in British radio today, a band is required to record material quickly, sometimes with limited overdubbing, but largely limited to and relying upon their live sound.

Amongst the extended jams and live versions of well-known Experience songs, notable inclusions are the amusing take on a BBC Radio 1 jingle ("Radio One"), a recording with Stevie Wonder on drums ("I Was Made To Love Her"), and the band's famous appearance on Lulu's television show in 1969.
