BBC Canada

BBC Canada is a general entertainment channel available on cable and satellite TV. It is a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Canadian broadcaster, Alliance Atlantis, along with BBC Kids.

As BBC Canada is effectively a Canadian channel which merely happens to be part British-owned, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission's broadcasting regulations require it carry a quota of Canadian content. In addition to BBC programmes, therefore, it also broadcasts Canadian series such as Due South, Street Legal and Holmes on Homes.
