Basic Law
The term Basic Law is used in some places as an alternate to "constitution". A Basic Law is either a constitution constitution, or in countries with uncodified constitutions, a law given to have constitution powers and effect. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
