Barstow is a city located in San Bernardino County, California. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 21,119. It is named after railroad magnate William Barstow Strong.

The Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex, a part of the NASA Deep Space Network, is located in the desert near Barstow.
