Baptism of Poland
The Baptism of Poland (Polish: Chrzest Polski) refers to the beginning of the Christianization of Poland. The process began with the baptism in 966 of Mieszko I, first ruler of the Polish state. By the 13th century, Roman Catholicism becaming the dominant religion in Poland.
