Bandera, Texas
Bandera is a city located in Bandera County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 957. Its estimated population as of July 2002 was 1,087. It is the county seat of Bandera County{{GR|6}}. Bandera calls itself the Cowboy Capital of the World. The city is home of Arkey Blue's Silver Dollar, a famous Hill Country Honky-Tonk. The city is about one hour west of San Antonio, and is just on the edge of the city's suburban sprawl. On Sunday mornings, Bandera is a popular destination for motorcyclists from San Antonio.
