Back Street Crawler
Back Street Crawler was the rock band formed by blues great Paul Kossoff (September 14, 1950-March 19, 1976) on his eventual final departure from Free in 1973. He only had months to live when Back Street Crawler, named after the title of his first solo album, was formed in early 1975 and the albums they produced are his last recorded work. The first album, The Band Plays On, showed that despite Kossoff's escalating drugs problem he could still lay claim to being one of the best blues/rock guitarists around. The follow-up album 2nd Street came out after his death, and posthumously, recordings from one of their concerts were released as a third album, Paul Kossoff Live at Croydon Fairfield Halls 15/6/75.

Terry Wilso-Slessor was formerly with "Becket" I was present at their first rehearsal/get together at Island studios with John Dean(Radio One dj`s warmup d.j.)also p.a. hire entrepaneur. Also present a very tall redhaired Irish guitarist(R.G. I think )(1987 I played with his drummer Rod D`eath in Portland Oregon While he was waiting the arrival of his great guitarist Mick Clarke) The studios had cctv in each studio which was viewed at the main reception.I remember playing Belgian bliiliards and eating a great steak cost 28p.I was in awe of this great Kossof guitarist but amazed at his diminuitive stature.Tony Braunangle and Terry Wilson (bass) were Americans.I don`t remember The keyboard player being there, but this was their first encounter.
