Baazigar is an Hindi movie released in India in 1993. The movie was one of the first of it's kind dealing with the psychology of a killer.

Ajay Sharma, played by Shahrukh Khan, is a man who seeks revenge. His father, once owner of a great business empire, was defrauded by a close friend, Madan Chopra. This shatters the entire family and leads to the death of Ajay's father and 1 year old sister. His mother suffers goes into a mental trauma and the young kid has to take care of himself and her in poverty.
