The Avenue is a walkway through Covent Garden passing St Paul's church, commonly known as the "Actors' church". It honours individuals or groups from the entertainment industry who have made notable achievments. As on the Walk of Fame, the individual or group has a 5-pointed star with their name upon set into the walkway. In order to qualify for a star the individual or group must be from either the United Kingdom, Ireland, or a Commonwealth nation.
