Aventura, Florida
Aventura is a city located in northeastern Miami-Dade County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 25,267. Most of what would later become the city of Aventura was planned during the 1970s by Turnberry International Realty as a high-rise residential area, and some of Miami's tallest condominium towers are located there. Aventura is also home to Aventura Mall, also developed and owned by Turnberry. The enormous success of the mall encouraged explosive growth in the area, and in 1995, the City of Aventura was incorporated.

Aventura is located at 25°57'52" North, 80°8'9" West (25.964345, -80.135818){{GR|1}}.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.1 km² (3.5 mi²). 7.0 km² (2.7 mi²) of it is land and 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 23.08% water.
