Avant Garde (band)
Avant Garde (1987-1989) (later Zoom) was an '80's metal band band consisting of Kevin Ridel (later of Ridel High and AM Radio) on Vocals, Rivers Cuomo (later of Weezer) on lead/rhythm guitar, Justin Fisher (later of Shufflepuck and Psoma) on bass, Bryn Mutch on percussion, and Michael Stanton (who quit playing in bands and eventually became a software engineer at Microsoft) on lead/rhythm guitar.
