Automatic rifle

An automatic rifle is a turm used to describe a full-sized, full-powered military rifle capable of fully-automatic fire; a type of automatic firearm. An automatic rifle is distinguished from an assault rifle in that assault rifles fire intermediate-power cartridges whereas automatic rifles fire full-power cartridges.
