Aubel is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Liège. On 1 January 2005 the municipality had 4,056 inhabitants (1,989 males and 2,067 females). The total area is 18.83 km², giving a population density of 215.4 inhabitants per km².

Aubel is famous for its butchers, cheesemakers, and cider and beer breweries. An open-air market is held in the centre of Aubel every Sunday morning. This market has been in continuous weekly existence since 1630.
