At least two comic book publishers have used the name Atlas.

  • The current Marvel Comics had a number of forerunners in the 1940, most noticeably Timely and Atlas. See the linked article for more information on early Marvel.
  • Less well-known, although also noteworthy, is the short-lived Atlas/Seaboard Comics company.
