Atchison, Kansas
Atchison is the largest city and county seat of Atchison County, Kansas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 10,232. It is named for the senator David Rice Atchison, and was the original eastern terminus of the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad.

Atchison is located at 39°33'45" North, 95°7'42" West (39.562499, -95.128257){{GR|1}}.
