Passenger services were adopted by the late 1970s and early 1980s, both on a charter and regular scheduled service basis. Arrow Air had many passenger flights from JFK International Airport in New York and from Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan at the time, using Lockheed L-1011 as well as McDonnell Douglas DC-10 and DC-8 equipment at the time.
