Army Intelligence
The US Army, one of the four military services in the Department of Defense, is of course primarily concerned with the conduct of military operations, and is not (in its entirety) part of the Intelligence Community (IC). The Army?s intelligence component, however, does produce intelligence both for Army use and for sharing across the Community, qualifying it (Army Military Intelligence (MI)) as an IC member.
