An arcade game is a coin-operated entertainment machine, typically installed in businesses such as restaurants, pubs, and video arcades. Most arcade games are video games or pinball machines.
Adjective
Arcade games were often very short and difficult, requiring players to master their every nuance. Today games on consoles or the PC can be refered to as an "arcade game" if it has these qualities.
