During his time with the Nuggets, McDyess averaged at or near a double-double and had at least one block per game. Though he has been troubled by a recurring knee injury since January 2000 and has undergone several surgeries, the 6'9", 245-pound forward had been a dependable sixth man during the 2004-05 season, averaging 10 points and 6 rebounds per 23 minutes and ranked #13 in the NBA in field-goal percentage at 51.3%.
