Anniyan

Anniyan (Aparichithudu in Telugu) is a 2005 high-budget Tamil movie. It is the first Indian movie to be dubbed into French and released worldwide in French-speaking countries. Columbia Tristar had recently acquired the French dubbing rights. Anniyan is a landmark movie in that sense, in being the Tamil cinema industry's first step to break into international cinema.

The movie stars "Chiyaan" Vikram, Prakash Raj, Sadha, and Vivek. The film is directed by S. Shankar of Gentleman fame. The soundtrack was released April 27 2005 and has made an incredible impact across South India. The motion picture took over two years to complete (2003–2005).
