Anne Haddy


 

Anne Haddy (born 5 October 1930 Quorn, South Australia, died 6 June 1999 Melbourne) was an Australian actress. She is probabaly most famous for her role of Helen Daniels in the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours. She played this role from the very first episode in 1985 to episode 2,965 in 1997, when Anne was forced to give up the role, due to ill health. She was one of the longest serving actors to ever appear on Neighbours.

After suffering from stomach cancer and various other heart and kidney ailments, she quit Neighbours in 1997. In 1999, she died peacefully, with her actor husband, James Condon beside her.
