Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia

Annapolis Royal (2004 pop.: 548) is a Canadian town located in the western part of Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.

Geography

The community is situated on the southern bank of the Annapolis River at the mouth of Allains Creek. The location is approximately 9 km east of Port Royal which is on the northern bank at the mouth of the river at its entrance into the Annapolis Basin. Directly opposite Annapolis Royal on the northern bank of the river is the community of Granville Ferry.
