Anna Hall Roosevelt
Anna Eleanor Hall Roosevelt (1864-1892) was a dazzling beauty who caught the eye of Elliott Rossevelt. Elliot married her in 1883 when he was 23 and she was 19. She bore him three children : Eleanor, Elliot Jr., and Hall. Eleanor would go on to become First Lady of the United States of America when she married Franklin D. Roosevelt. Despite her beauty, she was somewhat ashamed of Eleanor's plainness and treated her sons better. When Eleanor was eight, Anna contracted diphtheria and died aged 28.
