Anita Garvin
Anita Garvin (February 11, 1906 - July 7, 1994) was an American actress and comedienne who appeared in both silent and sound films. She is best known for her work with the comedians Laurel and Hardy and Charley Chase.

Garvin was born in New York City. Later, she moved to California where in 1924, she initially worked for Al Christie's comedy unit. She then began work for Educational Studios and eventually, in 1926 Hal Roach, where she appeared in many silent films with Charley Chase, James Finlayson, and Max Davidson.

In 1928, she was teamed with Marion "Peanuts" Byron as a short-lived female version of Laurel & Hardy. Garvin appeared in a total of eleven Laurel and Hardy films. In the sound era, She also appeared in comedies produced at Vitaphone, Educational, RKO and Columbia.

Her last film is apparently a Three Stooges short from 1940. She then gave up acting to raise a family.
