Angela Via

Angela V?a or AJ (born December 29, 1981 as Angela Jolene Trullinger) is a Latina Mexican-American singer/songwriter from Texas.

Angela was born in Raymondville, Texas. Her family moved to Gresham, Oregon, a suburb of Portland, Oregon, when she was nine. Although she currently lives in Oregon, she makes frequent trips to Los Angeles, California. Angela created her stage name V?a by using a shortened version of her mother's maiden name, Villarreal. Angela uses whistle register technique in her recordings; she hit a C7 in her debut single Picture Perfect.
