Angel's Egg


 
 

Angel's Egg (天使のたまご Tenshi no Tamago) is a Japanese anime produced by Tokuma Shoten in 1985. It is a long feature film that incorporates surrealistic and existentialist qualities, but very little dialogue. Angel's Egg is a co-production between popular artist Yoshitaka Amano and film director Mamoru Oshii. Angel's Egg is a commonly cited example of progressive anime.
