Andre Deutsch

Andre Deutsch (1917–2000) was a 20th century British publisher. He was born in Budapest, Hungary. His small but influential publishing house from the 1950s to the 1980s included books by Jack Kerouac, Norman Mailer, V. S. Naipaul, Andrew Robinson, Philip Roth and John Updike. Deutsch died on 11 April 2000, aged 82.
