Andaz apna apna

Andaz Apna Apna is a Bollywood movie directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, starring Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon and Karishma Kapoor. The film was released in 1994 and was a success in India. The title means "Your/One's very own style" in English.

Plot Outline

Amar and Prem are two men living in different villages, who dream of making it rich without working for it - by marrying wealth. They are both out to woo the daughter of Ram Gopal Bajaj, a millionaire businessman. The woman has come to India from London to find a suitable husband for herself. Even though Amar finally succeeds in making the heiress fall in love with him, she confesses that she is impersonating the actual heiress; the true heiress is her secretary, who in turn is in love with Prem - the two ladies just swapped roles before landing in India. In the meantime, Ram Gopal Bajaj's identical twin-brother and notorious gangster, Teja is plotting on taking over his fortune by nefarious means. A hilarious mess of mistaken identities follows. The movie is reported to have taken over 5 years to film and it is also reported that there were major personality clashes between the 2 Khans.
