Anarkali
Anarkali is a bazaar (market) located on Mall Road in Lahore, Pakistan. It is one of the oldest (it dates back at least 200 years) markets on the Indian subcontinent. According to legend, Mughal Prince Saleem fell in love with a girl named Anarkali. She was buried alive in a wall said to be located within the bazaar, by the order of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
