In the spring of 1999, Amy was approached by Paul Heyman and was offered a deal with ECW. Amy Dumas debuted in ECW as a valet for Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill under the name Miss Congeniality. She later became known as Angelica and on July 18, 1999, she got her first pay-per-view exposure at ECW's Heat Wave.
