Amsterdam ArenA
The Amsterdam Arena is a football stadium in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Initially, it was planned as the centrepiece of a proposed bid by Amsterdam for the Olympic Games. However, once the prospect of an Olympic bid ended, the plan became one for a general sports arena in the amsterdam area. Today, the stadium is home to Ajax, traditionally one of the strongest club sides in the Netherlands, and indeed in all of Europe. The stadium also hosts the Amsterdam Admirals, an American football team that plays in NFL Europe.
