American Broadcasting Company

The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) is a television and radio network in the United States. Created in 1943 from the former NBC Blue network, ABC is owned by The Walt Disney Company, and the formal company name is ABC, Inc. Corporate headquarters are in New York, while programming offices are in Burbank, California, adjoining the Disney Studio.

ABC1

Launched September 27, 2004, ABC1 is a British TV station on the Freeview digital terrestrial service, owned and operated by ABC Inc. Its current schedule is a selection of past and present American shows, mostly from ABC, and is offered from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Since launched on digital satellite and digital cable, ABC1 plans to increase its schedule to 24 hours a day in the near future.
