Amenophis (band)
Amenophis were a German symphonic rock band that released two albums in the eighties. They were strongly influenced by bands like Yes, Genesis, and Camel. They first performed in October 1979, doing a series of live performances before gambling on their 1983 eponymous album to rescue them financially. Poor sales led to the band's breaking up. They reformed in 1987 with new backing but broke up again after the release of a second album.
