It is often compared to The Incredible String Band. The band consisted of two of Donovan's old friends Julian MacAllister and Mac MacLeod, and was joined by Ray Cooper on hand drums. Donovan had been given a sitar by George Harrison and had lent the instrument to MacLeod who played it on many of their songs. Keith Relf produced a set of recordings which came out many years later on the Shagrat label titled Pearls of Amber.
