All India Radio (band)

All India Radio is an Australian electronic band. The music is lo-fi, down tempo and instrumental. Gentle melodies weave in and out of through noir-ish atmospheres and mysterious distant street sounds.

Part live band, part studio-based project, All India Radio have released 4 albums: The Inevitable (2000), 002 (2001), All India Radio (2003) and Permanent Evolutions (2005).

The albums have been warmly received all around the world particularly France, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Poland where they charted on the alternative and dance radio charts. All India Radio was nominated for an Australian music industry (ARIA) Award in 2003.

The band are very active in film and TV - recent credits include the Warner TV series One Tree Hill, Canadian feature film Oblivion, plus work for Foxtel, ABC TV & SBS Television.
