~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In 2001 an anime adaptation by J.C.STAFF and GENCO was produced as a four episode OVA. This OVA was directed by Yuri Fujimoto and written by Sadayuki Murai. English versions of both were released in North America by Central Park Media in 2003. While it may seem childish and cutesy at first, featuring eleven year olds roller skating around trying to catch aliens, like the later Narutaru there is a darker and more serious subtext waiting to surface. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
