Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (born April 1, 1938) is an American actress. Born Alice MacGraw to a family of Irish and Jewish descent in Pound Ridge, New York, she began in 1960 as a photographic assistant at Harper's Bazaar magazine, then went in front of the camera as a famous fashion model. In 1969 she found a measure of stardom in Goodbye, Columbus, but real stardom happened in 1970 with Love Story, for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
