Alexander Kerensky

Alexander Fyodorovich Kerensky (Russian: ?????????? ????????? ??????????) (April 22, 1881 (May 2, New Style) - June 11, 1970) was the second Prime Minister of the Russian Provisional Government, immediately before the Bolsheviks and Lenin came to power.

Fictional references

The BattleTech character of Aleksandr Kerensky may well have been intended as either a reference to the historical Kerensky, or intended to be a descendant of his. (FASA's Star League Sourcebook confirms the latter and implies the former.) Like the historical Kerensky, the fictional one was a notable leader who helped overthrow a corrupt government, only to find himself ousted by other leaders with their own agendas.
