Alexander Blok
Alexander Blok (????????? ????????????? ????, November 16, 1880 - August 7, 1921), was probably the most gifted lyrical poet that Russia produced after Alexander Pushkin. A powerful influence on the pre-revolutionary Russian society, he is sometimes compared with William Butler Yeats for the visionary quality of his lush, sonorous verse.
