Aleka's Attic was a rock band that included actor River Phoenix as the singer and guitarist, as well as his sister Rain.

The group has disbanded, due to River Phoenix's death on October 31, 1993 from drugs while recording a movie (Dark Blood) that had not been completed posthumously. He had problems breathing during that time, according to his younger brother Joaquin. At his funeral, he wore a t-shirt of the band when he was in the casket.
