Albert Hammond

Albert Hammond (born May 18, 1944) is a singer-songwriter originally from Gibraltar.

Hammond was born in London and later moved to the United States to begin his professional career as a musician. He is best known for his hits of the 1970s like "It Never Rains in Southern California", "The Free Electric Band", and the environment conscious, "Down by the River".
