Albert and David Maysles
Brothers Albert and David Maysles were a documentary filmmaking team whose works include Salesman, Gimme Shelter and Grey Gardens. Their 1964 film on The Beatles forms the backbone of the DVD The Beatles: Their First U.S. Visit. David Maysles (born January 10, 1932, Boston, Massachusetts) died in 1987; Albert Maysles (born November 26, 1928, Boston, Massachusetts), whom Jean-Luc Godard called "the best American cameraman," http://www.albany.edu/writers-inst/maysles.html has continued to make films, with new collaborators.
