Alan Coren
Alan Coren (born 1939) is a British writer and satirist. He is a regular panellist on The News Quiz with Simon Hoggart, and Call My Bluff. He writes both his own and the Notebook column for The Times of London. He has also written for Penthouse and The Daily Mail. He was editor of Punch magazine from 1978 to 1987, and of The Listener from 1987 to 1989.
