In one episode, Alamo beer accidentally tainted with soap is withdrawn from the American market but is still sold in Mexico, creating a shortage in the U.S. Hank Hill, Bill Dauterive, Boomhauer, and Dale Gribble, all longtime Alamo Beer drinkers, drive to Mexico to buy some beer, but find that the tainted beer makes them vomit and have severe diarrhea. Thanks to Peggy Hill, who had obtained a job in Alamo's customer service department, the scheme is exposed, and all of the tainted beer is recalled.
