Alain Pompidou
Prof. Alain Pompidou (born 1942 in Paris, France) is a French scientist and politician. He is the fourth and current president of the European Patent Office (EPO). He has been president since July 1, 2004 and will stay in office until June 30, 2007. He is the foster son of Georges Pompidou, former President of France.
